Competitive prices, great service re delivery

Ordered a breakfast bar leg, it was exactly what it said it was and did the job. The only downfall is they packaged it in a cardboard box which was completely ripped open with having heavy metal inside.. luckily nothing was missing, so no complaints but maybe they need to package their products a little better, as any small or breakable parts would not of made it in 1 piece.

I ordered the parts required expecting a Friday delivery and someone waited in all day for them.
Was told the Friday evening they wouldn't arrive and eventually dropped off outside the house on Monday, no signature given even though they said someone had signed for them.
The parcel could have been taken by anyone walking by.
Very poor delivery service.

The package arrived open didn't seem well packaged the box of nails was open but all were in the outer cardboard box the ties were all present, the snack wasn't hope courier enjoyed it,
The ties and nails were perfect for my job and i accepted the delivery because I needed them immediately will use the company again.
Just to update ironmongery direct has contacted me promptly to discuss my delivery which has been much appreciated, great customer service ????.

Product was excellent the delivery was the problem it was supposed to be next day delivery part of it arrived next day the rest of the order did not turn up till 2 days later.

Order was fulfilled, however, charged for next day delivery failed to materialise costing me lost wages. Hopefully next time they are going to choose couriers who 'don't run out of time'.

The service was excellent but I was disappointed that the track accessory pack did not have enough guides for 3 doors and the door wheels did not suit my preferred configuration.

Good website,good information/description, easy ordering and quick delivery (came next day). My only negative was the cost of shipping. Seemed very expensive in relation to my order. There didn't seem to be any other delivery options.
Not a criticism of Ironmongery Direct, but just a note, delivery was via DPD and the communication was good, as to when the parcel was to be delivered, but despite communicating to DPD that we would be out and to leave parcel in a safe place, AND having confirmation back from DPD that the parcel would be left in the safe place, it was left on the doorstep.

Took over a week to receive my goods!
Got a message from there courier saying there’s been a problem on the delivery this went on daily until I received it 7 days later.
Had to ring them everyday no one really knew what was going on very dissatisfied as I needed these items to finish a job off and get paid!..

As always , fast delivery and always on time , never hold the job up. Cant recommend enough ????
